Answer Question
Installation scenario feasible?
Hello,
We are currently examining the acquisition of a RHUB TMA server to realize video conferences via Internet but also for audio participants via telephone connection.
However, we want to do this mostly ourselves.
That means:
- The TMA server would be behind a firewall. Incoming and outgoing connections are controlled restrictively and blocked if necessary.
- The TMA server gets a dedicated Internet connection.
- The TMA server gets its own telephone connection with a german phone provider with several voice channels and several phone numbers or extensions.
We want to run the server without connecting to the vendor cloud, as conferences could also take place that have the status "Confidential".
Is that possible?
According to the manual it seems to be the case that the server can log on to the provider directly or at least to a PBX as SIP subscriber.
We had the idea of using different extension numbers for different conference rooms. Can we do that?
Should we decide to use the RHUB dial-in numbers after all, the calls will be forwarded to the server via RHUB's Session Border Controller according to the manual. Is that still correct? There is only one IP address behind it? (Question about Firewall)
What about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) at RHUB?
The question is important because otherwise we would not be able to decide to host secret meetings via turbomeeting.
Is Turbo Meeting the right solution for what we have in mind?
Thank you and best regards from Germany.
